In fall of 2013, Professor Rutledge led a trip of students to Oak Park, Illinois, Ernest Hemingway’s hometown. The trip is part of the “Hemingway and Faulkner” course offered by the English Department each fall. After studying works by William Faulkner and Ernest Hemingway, the class takes a trip to the hometown of each author. To read more about the course, click here.
